About This Project
Apex Roofing Solutions completed a roof replacement for a homeowner on Hickory Place in Rockaway, NJ. The new roof features GAF Timberline HDZ® shingles in Hickory — a rich, dark brown tone that complements the wooded character of Morris County neighborhoods and adds strong curb appeal.
In addition to the new shingles, we addressed the chimney crown, removing the deteriorated cement and applying fresh cement to restore a watertight seal at the top of the chimney structure. Cracked or failing chimney crowns are a common source of water intrusion, so repairing it alongside the roof replacement protects the full investment. We also installed new 6-inch gutters and downspouts throughout the property to ensure water is properly directed away from the roofline and foundation.
